Since its founding in 2000, Leira has achieved significant milestones as a leading Portuguese footwear manufacturer. Recognized for its excellence, Leira has held the PME Líder status consecutively since 2008 and earned the prestigious PME Excelência award three times.
In 2012, the company launched its own brand, Play Motives, showcasing its ability to innovate and adapt.
In 2023, Leira reinforced its commitment to sustainability by obtaining environmental certification under ISO 14001.
The company embraced a new chapter in 2022, welcoming the next generation of leadership as the founders’ children joined the business.
