Today marked a special moment in Leira’s history as we had the honour of welcoming D. Manuel Linda, Bishop of Porto, to our facilities in Felgueiras.
During his visit, Bishop D. Manuel Linda toured our factory, witnessing firsthand the care, skill, and dedication that go into each step of our footwear production. From design to final inspection, he was introduced to the full process behind the creation of every pair of Leira shoes — and more importantly, to the people who make it all possible.
This was a meaningful opportunity to share not only our work, but also our values — commitment, respect, and a deep connection to our local community. It was a moment of inspiration for all, reminding us of the human side of manufacturing and the impact our industry can have when guided by purpose and integrity.
